OOC: just a quick note... I am heading home for the next two weeks about. So I might be a little spotty until then but usually it isn't much of a problem but seeing as I only get back there once or twice a year ya' never know. Just a little heads up but I don't really anticipate a problem. I'll be starting the sixteen hour drive on Thursday so... not sure exactly and seeing as how we live in a rather connected world I'll probably not even miss anything on the travel days, laptop, wifi, all those crazy contraptions, but... Anyway, don't forsee a problem but just in case I'm letting you all know.

  Seeing Quaid move quicksilver quick to grab the new girl on his side, Kast leaps into the air and just... stays there. He eyes the grappling duo carefully, flying in place safely out of arm's reach, waits for his opening and... kicks out at Quaid's snarling face. 

  OOC: Gah, I'm away from the keyboard for a couple days and war were declared! Dice roll (Dexterity 3 + Brawl 1 = 4 dice) results are 5, 7, 2, 3 for a whopping one success on facekick roll. Go me!

he were mentally counting to ten as he spoke. Players who want to act now can do so, but I'll post what happens next to keep things moving. All this talking takes 2 turns in which others are free to act, the next sentence and casting of the cantrip take another turn in which 
players can act if they wish]OOC - Before I post my full action I'm letting Spikey review things and make sure I got my game mechanics right. In the meanwhile I think I can safely post the following:
Nyx seems unfazed and unimpressed by Quaid's tirade. Her eyes are cold and fixed on the Redcap. She focuses on his every move and as he begins snapping his fingers out the Satyr explodes into a lighting 
fast blur of action as she launches her attack.
