Big Al's Pizza Parlor 

Before Cody can even consider an answer, Marco comes
over to their table, bringing two more bottles of beer
for the detectives.  

He sets one in front of each of them, but notes that
the lady's bottle still had beer in the neck.  Perhaps
she wasn't much of a beer drinker then.  "Could I
bring either of you something else?"  His eyes were
specifically on Hope, but he was attempting not to
make it too obvious.  It was a trick that would work
on most people, but detectives were trained to be
observant.  

He is not overly surprised when Hope asks for a soft
drink.  Regular, not diet, like most women these days
tended to prefer.  He goes to get it, making his way
through the now practically empty restaurant.  It was
a bit past closing time, but for a couple of Gotham's
finest, and the presence of a lovely lady, he was
willing to stick around.  

The other guys were starting to clean up the
preparation area, and the ovens were already starting
to cool.  Marco goes to pour the lady's drink,
continuing to watch them from afar.
