"Stand behind me," Maria said, moving to the edge of
the paved area and sitting on the ground.  Cash could
almost hear a summons, his beast wanting to come out,
but it seemed almost - seductive - a call given in
peace.  What was Maria doing?  Then in the distance he
saw movement, a medium sized mammal, and it was coming
this way, apparently unafraid.

As the animal came closer, Cash realized what Maria
was doing, she was summoning this animal to them,
Cash's mouth watered, thinking of the feast this
animal would give him.  When it was almost to them, he
quickly attacked, biting down on the neck, drinking it
dry.

Maria looked up at him.  "Drag it into the desert, the
scavengers will get it."  After doing that, the two
vampires mounted their bikes and rode off into the
west.

OOC: If you don't mind, I'm going to slip Cash forward
in time to his meeting with Montoya.  Otherwise, I can
continue his travels with Maria.
