    "Chicago?" Tess asks with a raised  eyebrow, pushing a glass of Vodka towards Nyx folowed by a mixer bottle with a  fizz tap. "We must have walked the same streets sweetie, although maybe  not at the same time!"
       
      Nyx gives Tess an evil grin.  
       
      She drops some ice in her  own glass from a bucket on the bar and takes a drink, watching the new girl as  she did so.
       
      "Straight talking, up  front, I'd have pegged you as Chicago."  She smiled. "You're a looker too, and brassy. Very much our boy's  taste."
       
      She takes another drink.
       
      "House takes Fifteen  percent for room and board if you want your own room, or you can arrange  to bring clients here for ten percent a time if you got somewhere else to live.  Theres a room if you need it and you can kick into the kitty for food if  you like and take a turn at cooking, or do your own thing. If you've ever  worked a bar before you can take some shifts doing that too and save your back,  if you like. Only rule is that you stay healthy, look good when you  work and stay outta the basement. Everything else is negotiable. Hows that  sound?"
       
      A bright smile lights up Nyx’s  face. “That sounds real good and your rules sound reasonable.  I could use a place at the moment, I’m staying  with a girlfriend and I would love to get out of her hair. I’ll do my own thing  with the food.” Pauses for a moment and then continues. “I just got hired as a  dancer at Escapades tonight so I’m not interested in a bar gig. My schedule  there will be worked around what ever I do here. I’m available to start  tomorrow night if that suits you.” Actually bounces in place a little bit in  her excitement.
