John's attention seems to be momentarily distract as
he realizes what a strong and positive effect he's
having on Abby is, and it seems to fluster him a
moment. It's almost as if he were a high school kid
who was on his first date.

For a moment, he actually forgets who he really is.

He looks at Stephen as he collects himself. It's not
unusual that the man isn't as casual as John about
their nature. Play it safe and take no risks, but
John has no intention of making it any easier for the
man.

He does arch an eyebrow at the mention of other
serious practitioners.

"I'm sure you will find the night most informative. I
hope to begin advertising very soon, but feel free to
stop in whenever you want. As for interesting things
. . . one only needs to experience the Colt Mansion to
really appreciate how some of these things are
anything BUT ridiculous. The place is haunted, and I
would not want to find myself there if unwelcomed."
