John smiled as Abby leaned into him, returning the
favor. His arm softly squeezed her closer, just
briefly, a subtle indication of his affection.
"I bought the bookstore when I arrived in Gotham,
about a year ago. Renovated it, updated the
inventory, and gave it a new name. I don't know if I
would consider myself interested in the occult for
knowledge's sake, it's more for the practical
applications that I often find a use for. It's also
let me meet some intesting, if not scary people, and
help many others."
He shrugged. "If you're interested, we'll be hosting
a discussion in a few nights on Necromancy, is it
harmless magic or a form of enslavement. More
philisophical approach, but we always get a few
serious practitioners looking to present a pet theory
or defend and old idea."
