He shrugged. "I'll settle for a little Happiness
over
both."
   
  Abby savored the smoky fire of the bourbon
  Are you Happy Sela? You ought to be, bein’ here with this Gentleman. He’s been really nice to you, you like  him don’t you? You ain’t out in the cold and rain, you 
  don’t have to be touchin’ none that you don’t want to
  anymore. And you seem to have given the slip to whoever’s
  been trackin’ you for so long.
  The warnings, the whispers in her Dreams and Heart
  that’d driven her down the road to Gotham seemed 
  content now she was here.
  She glanced about at the crowd, dangerous and fascinating.
  I AM Happy. 
  She leaned closer to John, smiling gently.
  
"Hear hear!" Morgan cut in, seeming as if he'd just
returned his attention to the others from some other
place. "The Fates have often been accused of being
cruel, and Dame Fortune of being fickle. I've always
believed it pointless to struggle against such
implacable ladies and to just enjoy the ride. What
goes around comes around in the end after all!"
  
He lifts his glass in a toast before taking another
sip.

John returns the toast and takes a sip of his own and
then continues. "Let's be honest though, my answer
wasn't exactly fair. It sounds wise and profound,
choosing a third option, but it had more to do with
not like either of my choices. This does not mean
they aren't worth studying, in my experience I've
become familiar with both. I'm sure most people would
choose Happiness."
   
  “I know I do.”
