Ash returns with some drinks on a tray, apparently having spilt part of one glass into a nearby plant pot perhaps. The Toreador spent so much of thier time with Mortals that these little tricks to avoid arousing suspicion came as second nature to him.

"here you go dearest!" he says when they meet. "I see you've scared the Prince off, which is good. Just one more piece of social duty to perform, I had better greet Ettienne and do the dutiful childe thing. I just saw him trapsing off towards the arboretorium .."

he twists to point with a glass filled hand in the direction he meant.

"Would you like to come with?"
