"Works fine... I think I'd rather walk... it's a lovely night and a bus 
just isn't private."

"I think he's too old to be called a redneck... probably more medieval 
if anything.  He's got a pretty simplistic worldview - stuff seems to 
boil down to stuff he can kill, or stuff that can kill him.  He's not 
stupid - he's probably savvier than I am, if anything.  But when it came 
time to establishing ourselves as the heads of Chinatown, he left a lot 
of the details to me.  I dunno... he's got plans, and Chinatown's more 
of a side-effect than a step on his way.  So maybe he just wants it to 
be my baby instead of his.  But I think he views politics as more of a 
nuisance than a necessity."

Rachel shrugs, suspecting that she hasn't really answered Shade's 
question, but at least she might clarify what she's wondering.  And then 
of course there's the question of just how much to say... and she just 
hates having to worry about that sort of thing.

Maybe she and Titus are more alike than she'd like to think.
