Korben sighs at the mention of pack order. A pack needs an Alpha...
being born homid doesn't change the needs of the Wolf, and the Wolf
needs pack order. It's not even that the Wolf doesn't like democracy;
the Wolf can't even grasp the concept.
On the other hand, Korben knows himself. Ahroun or not, he's not a
leader, and deep down he doesn't really believe Ahroun should be
leaders, even though that's the tradition. Even though that's how the
Wolf thinks... he can't escape the knowledge of the human either. If
he's in charge, it's bad news.
Given only the two of them, that means Nez would be Alpha. She seemed
like a take-charge type, so that might work well... but did she want the
job? Did she even want to assert a pack order? Sure, he could force
the issue by challenging her for the post, and then throwing the
fight... unless she conceded without a challenge, and then he'd be in
charge.
Catch-22... nothing to do but wait until Nez made a gesture. Once she
asserted herself, he could challenge and lose and make it official, with
no great loss of face either. But not until then.

Korben shifts as well, choosing the war-form over mere Glabro. Whatever
the job at hand, it probably involves breaking stuff, and he's good at
that. "Ready," he grunts in Garou.
