Stephen smirks at the couple's flirtatious banter as he takes John's
card. He examines it briefly before slipping it into the inside
pocket of his charcoal suit jacket. "Mike's not the owner?" Stephen
asks, seeming confused by the way the two speak of him and the fact
that the store is called "Mike's place." John had said, after all,
that he runs the bookstore, not that he owns it.

The mathematician is strikingly handsome--perhaps he single-handedly
disproves the awkward, nerdy stereotype accompanying his profession.
He's clean-shaven and well dressed; his suit is tailored neatly,
disguising his lanky frame. His eyes are a dark brown and their
expression is curious and attentive. [App 4]

Aside from a genuine look of interest in the couple and the
conversation, he doesn't appear to be up to anything out of the
ordinary. Abby's animal instincts offer her very little additional
insight; if anything, she can intuitively sense the fact that Stephen
is indeed mortal... she can smell it on him.

[Thanks to Antonia for clarifying the use of Primal Urge... Unless
Spikey deems otherwise, I don't think it garners anything extra.]
