Aurora appreciated the honesty of the City.  She wondered if all old
cities had spirits as strong as this... probably nobody cared to
listen before...  At any rate, she's just been asked to do a job.

"Who came through?"  Aurora projected.   "How may I confront them for you?"

She knew she had the ability to step to the other side, but she also
knew that she was more vulnerable there... and couldn't do so in a
place like this.  Or would she be able to if the need was great
enough?  She reached out with her senses, and while others saw her
stroking the leaves of a plant, she was truly attempting to sense the
strength of the Gauntlet.
