Nez nodded at Korben's words; they needed a short-term and a long-term 
response. Korben's contacts would be invaluable.

She looked around to see if this was a good site to cross over from- 
making sure it was out of sight of an approaching barge, the other 
shore, etc.

"Ready to go?" Nez looked to Chester, waiting for his ok. She was eager 
to cross, but although Chester seemed easy-going, she could not afford 
to insult him. Better safe than sorry.
