[Sodium_noir] Hell is Other People

The second - and, within moments, empty - glass is
still in Jack's hand as the effects of the alcohol
begin to settle his nerves.  He lights up another
cigarette and moves further into the main room,
looking for familiar faces - specifically, Aurora or
Mara.

Instantly he spots Mara with a tall and dashing looking man at the foor of the stairs. They appear to be talking to another gentleman with a ramrod straight back and a jutting chin. 

Closer to him the group of five people breaks up as a couple make thier farewells and leave. That left a buxom woman and two men. 

Though the place was busy with people walking in and out, he saw no sign of Aurora and Mitsuko.
