Reporters covering the party

Petra spies a knot of people talking and motions Jimmy
to start taking pictures.  She vaguely recalled the
older woman.  She was Eva Harrington-Smythe, a very
prominent socialite, and wasn't on the 'no harass'
list.  She was with a younger woman, and talking to a
very well-dressed and attractive couple.  A couple she
didn't recognize, and one she hoped wasn't on the
list.

Petra nods to Jimmy.  Jimmy starts to take pictures of
the gathered crowd. Harrington-Smythe's daughter in
law takes note of the camera and begins to pose for
it, getting close to her mother in law and pretending
to be friendly with her.   

Montenegro and Camille, who were standing next to the
Harrington-Smythes, take note of the flash and turn
toward the source.  Camille, being a hardened veteran
of attending such events, realizes that this badly
matched couple were reporters for the society pages. 
With that, her smile evaporates.  She turns her head
to whisper in Montenegro's ear.  "They can't publish
that photo."  She didn't think she needed to remind
him that she was supposed to be dead.  The last thing
she needed was her photo turning up in the Herald,
soon to be made available to anyone willing to surf
the net.  

Montenegro pulls her close as if to pose for the
photographer.  "Then take care of it."  He says.  She
was an Apprentice of House and Clan Tremere, it was
about time she started to act like it.  

Camille pulls away from Montenegro without so much as
a word to him.  Montenegro makes a note to reprimand
her later for this, but he still wanted to see her in
action, dealing with this small nuisance.  

Camille stalks toward the pair, a predator in Donna
Karan and heels.  She stares at the young man with the
camera, and Jimmy stares at her through the lens.  She
was quite beautiful, and he hoped Petra would catch
her name, because he was supposed to be keeping track
of who was in the photos he was taking.
