>"Ah my appologies Miss Ravenclaw, I am terrible with names." His mind was clearly ticking. 

No, he was covering his ass, wondering how he had flubbed her name so badly.  "Apology accepted."  She replies with a sickly sweet smile while she lies through her fangs.    

>"Ravenclaw? The lawyer?"

Mara offers a small nod to confirm his statement.   

>"Of course, no wonder I recogniused you. Maybe it was as a party given by somebady called Rothschild that we met."

"Very possible."  Mara replies.  "The Rothchilds used to be known for hosting a lot of parties and charity events."  She stresses the words used to.  Any Seattlite would recall that the Rothchild dynasty was dust now; it had died before she did.  But the Rothchild mansion still hosted charity events.  In fact, it was at her continued insistence that the mansion hosted the annual charity masquerade ball for the Seattle Chapter of W.E.A.V.E.  A sort of atonement for the sins of her father.  And forefathers.  

>"Well well, and now you are here in Gotham. Your reputation cannot help but fill such a fine city!"

Mara continues to smile politely.  Her mother had taught her not to say anything if she couldn't say anything nice, and she was going to take that advice to heart when dealing with this Melcom lackey.  "I had heard that Gotham is a city that offers many opportunities and challenges.  I hope that I will not be disappointed."
