Titus took it all in, looked out on the roof top, looked out on Gotham 
beyond.  Sirens in the distance, guns shots, car horns.  The sounds of the 
night.  He walked to the edge of the roof and looked down.

' I have a great many failures, Mercia.  And a great many weaknesses. And 
this was before I was given the curse.  The howling of the Beast is as 
nothing compared to the rage I feel inside, burning at me.  And I have felt 
that rage for so many, many years.  I tire of it, I truly do, but it drives 
me forward, every night, on and on and on.  Knock me down and the rage makes 
me get up again.  Break me and the rage makes me put myself together again. 
Always, it must be turned outwards, `cause when it ain't, it eats at me.  
But it is my dynamo.

' That what you mean by making my greatest weakness my strength?'

"Very much so!" The Tzimisce replied thoughtfully. "But much of that dynamo is fueled by the path you walk tonight. When your methods and your compass change, so will those things that feed your rage. What the Human despised about himself, or the Humane vampire, the Tyrant comes to accept or to ignore as no longer relavent. You must be ready for a great many changes during this period of metamorphosis. The threshold you cross will be marked by many signs."

He joined Titus on the roof edge.

"Alternatively, the ability to turn those flaws into such a driving force ought to be ackolwedged. I believe that you will find new direction and new purpose on the road of Chivalry Titus. I advise you to keep the first steps to yourself however. share them only with those you trust. While on the threshold you are in danger from oportunists and parasites, and they may see this time as a chink in your armour!"
