work for you can't I just go find heaven and throw my quest before their 
gates and surely they will want to get rid of the vampires too. I mean your 
offer is otherwise tempting but I don't even know hwo I am talking to. Which 
could be a bad thing."

The mention of Heaven drew a derisive snort from the creature before him.

"Heaven is closed kid, they ain't answering knocks at the door from anybody." he ran a hand through his hair. "Not that you could get there from here. Your Wrath ties you to this shadowy place and denies you any hope of moving on. Your final reward, whatever that might have been, is an unlikley proposition now. Theres a few of the dead here who will spout about the Far shores and how they lead to Heaven or paradise or something else, but they're screwy. Heaven and Hell are no closer or more attainable to the Dead in this place than they were to you while alive back there."

He watched Tellos for a moment, perhaps judging the reaction he got. 

"Heaven also could give a shit about the vampires. They have no desire to see them wiped out. It was them who created them after all. Along with the ultimate Bitch queen, Lilith. Taking action againt the Vampires would be like admitting they screwed up, and Heaven never admits when it is wrong. You can trust me on that."

"Which should answer the other question as to who 'we' are. We used to be Heaven, its frontline troops in fact. You think the GI's got it bad after Vietnam, you should take a look at how badly we got reemed. We're more like you're Redneck survival nuts now. Took the training the government gave us and use it to fight for what we believe in. Its just unfortunate that our morals no longer match with those of our previous Commander in chief so we wen't AWOL from the Choirs. The technical Term is Fallen Elohim!"

Again he watched Telos carefully, with a glint of pride in his eye.

"Course, we do take you onto our payroll, we won't send you back naked and unprepared. Your soul will buy you a few extra credits as well as the resurrection thing. We can rebuild you .." He put on a fake American accent. ".. we can make you stronger, faster ... you've seen the TV show. Once you're part of the portfolio you become an investment and we tend to look ut for our property."
