(OOC: Please disregard the previous 'Hell is Other People - Senura Sesostris' entry with the 'Cat got your tongue comment. I will continue with this venue rather than the one I had posted earlier. Sorry for any confusion.)

  Dr. Lazarus, Sanura Sesostris
  Lady Sinclaire's Mansion

  [Sanura]
"Good Evening," she says with a disarming smile.

"Dr. Lazarus, I presume," she says with a subtle smile and comely tip of her head.

  [Hiram Lazarus]
Hiram was impressed with her. She obviously knew the subtleties of social
gatherings that usually flummoxed him. Still, what interest did she have in
    him...

"You presume correctly," he said, offering a friendly smile and a handshake,
"though I don't believe I've had the pleasure..."

  [Sanura]
"The pleasure is mine, Doctor," she says shaking the good doctor's hand. "Your reputation preceeds you."

  [Hiram]
He trailed off, when he saw as he noticed another pair of eyes lock onto him
from across the room. It was Zorn again, this time he looked straight at
Hiram, a pernicious grin curling his lips.

"And who do I have the honor of being a service to?" he asked, trying to
resume his previous manner, though strained as it obviously showed.

  [Sanura]
  Perception 2 + Awareness 1 - Roll: 9,6,3

Sanura mentally noted Hiram's gaze trailing off somewhere else in the room, but thought discretion to be the better part of valor and did not follow his gaze. It was evident he seemed somewhat distracted, but in this kind of setting, there was no telling what kind of dynamics were taking place between people across the room. Better to take it one subject at a time for the moment.

"Sandra Scoland. It is an honor to finally meet you. Your reputation in the field of egyptology is almost legendary. I have been a fan of your research for sometime now... since your days with Dr. Tweaksbury as a matter of fact. I was hoping to see you at the museum at some point, but it seems good fortune smiled upon me and brought you here instead."

  Taggity... :)
