Sophia sighed, and not because the Toreador’s poetic
words moved her in any way.  She deftly slipped the
box of chocolates from under his arm and walked down
the hallway.  From the bewitched look on Ash’s face,
she doubted he’d notice that either she or the box of
sweets had left the room.

Alessandra smiled warmly and moved close to Ash. 
Gently stroking his face, she teased, “Why is it that
you Toreador use so many words to say what you mean? 
Say that I am beautiful and I will reply that I find
you equally so.  Love colors our vision, my dearest. 
Though...”  Alessa’s soft lips brushed his cheek and
she wrapped her arms around him, “...you have
permission to woo me with such words for the rest of
eternity.”

As her mouth reached the lobe of his ear, she
whispered, “And, as much as I am looking forward to
the party this evening...should you become bored at
any time and wish to retreat to a quiet and more
intimate setting, you will let me know, yes?”
