Maurice, Goldie, Panic
Serpent, Whore, Mage
The Chaste Dragon

>Panic looked from the eyes to the hand, to the eyes. His
>multifaceted senses could detect the Quintessence in the
>blood, or Vitae as the Undead preferred to call it. For a
>fleeting moment he wondered what he could do with Vampire
>blood like this, vampire blood from a walking Loa. But the
>serious nature of his currant situation brought his mind back
>tot he moment.
>
>Tink clung to him tightly, knowing her part in the situation.
>She had been as shocked by the Vampires presence as Panic and
>it had been her tiny claws that had opened the Betenoir's
>face. Striking out across the gauntlet and through his dead
>flesh as an instinct. Her long sinuous tail tightened its grip
>about his neck and she waited to see what her boy would do to
>get them out of hot water. lending her charisma to his, and
>her understanding of this Dead things place in the larger picture.
>
>"A thousand pardon's" Panic said as the wound healed before
>his eyes. "It is very rare for one of your station to walk so
>openly into my haven untroubled and my instincts got the
>better of me. Most other's would have been prevented from
>entering, lacking your might as they do. Maurice isn't it?" he
>indicated a seat away from the door, hoping the vampire would
>at least consider it. "Hougoun of les filles de la nuit!"
>
>The Young man's pronunciation is perfect.
>
>"I have had many unusual and unique creatures cross my door
>Betenoir, but you are the first Loa to do so!"

[OOC: IIRC, I think Maurice was at the bordello one time to meet up with
Titus, and Panic was there, too... Maybe we can ascribe his lack of
memory to his drug-befuddled senses ;)]

The words of the puny thing before him slowly registered to his mind.
The serpent receeded back deep into his mind and Maurice's eyes became
normal again. He looked at his hand, then grabbed a napkin from the bar
and wiped the blood off, tucking it into a pocket afterwards. He took
his cane and stood up. He raised an eyebrow. "I ssought my appearance
would be more memorable. We already 'ad sse pleassure of meeting." He
walked to the offered seat and sat down. He waited until Panic took a
seat. "You sstartled me wiss your reaction, Panic. I ssink we boss got
caught on sse wrong foot." He looked around, then saw that the cigar was
still tucked into the ashtray on the bar. A slightly annoyed look
crossed his face.

Then he turned back to Panic. "Maybe we should sstart anew. I ssink
introductionss are unnessessary, we boss know who sse osser one iss." He
held out his hand to Panic for a handshake.

[Ist all in a days tag!]
