When she heard the sudden rap on the door, Sophia
nearly shrieked.  “Oh, doamna, please tell me you are
ready to receive your gentleman.”

Alessandra made a noise which closely resembled a
growl.  “Why do you doubt me?  Naturally, I am ready!”
 She stood, nervous, still playing with the curls of
her hair, and followed her servant into the hallway.

Sophia opened the door and was greeted by the handsome
sight of Ash.  Still, being ever skeptical of the
motives of males in general, she planted a hand on her
round hip and raised an eyebrow at the new arrival.  
Her gaze traveled over Ash’s attire.  

“Humph.”  

The declaration wasn’t accompanied by a frown, so it
could be deduced that the Toreador’s appearance had
passed her inspection.  The flower was greeted by the
same positive review.

The chocolates, however... the motive behind this gift
was sussed out in a moment.  A bribe?  Could she be
bought so easily?

She could.

“Please, do come in.  My mistress will be with....”

Alessandra cleared her throat and peered over Sophia’s
shoulder.  “Yes, thank you so much.  There is quite a
mess in the bedroom and it should be attended to....
now, if you please.”

Her ghoul stood to one side and the Tzimisce reached
out a delicate hand.  It was perfumed with a scent
Alessandra had rarely worn since leaving her sire - an
ancient recipe of spices and exotic flowers that
Vasile had gone to great lengths to acquire for his
childe.  He’d said that the fragrance truly worked its
seductive magic when adorning her skin.

Alessa could barely contain her joy at seeing Ash
again, and all she could think of at this moment was
the taste of his lips.

“My dearest, how handsome you are.”
