Maurice, Goldie, Panic
Serpent, Whore, Mage
The Chaste Dragon

>Maurice still eyed the mage, his eyes now narrowing dangerously.
>Something was flowing down his chin. He wiped over the cut and looked at
>his hand, smeared with his own blood. But the wound was already closing,
>the blood of the Loa doing its work.

>He smiled, a cocky smile that covered any fear he might be feeling.

>Maurice's eyes had turned golden and his pupils had become inhuman slits. He
>stared intensly at the mortal before him, annoyance and a slight anger
>evident in his stare. He held out his blood covered hand accusingly for
>Panic to see. His eyes had a coldness that was terrifying, there was no
>human emotion in them anymore, it felt more like the stare of a serpent
>at a rabbit shortly before the sudden strike that ended the hapless
>animal's life.

Panic looked from the eyes to the hand, to the eyes. His multifaceted senses could detect the Quintessence in the blood, or Vitae as the Undead preferred to call it. For a fleeting moment he wondered what he could do with Vampire blood like this, vampire blood from a walking Loa. But the serious nature of his currant situation brought his mind back tot he moment.

Tink clung to him tightly, knowing her part in the situation. She had been as shocked by the Vampires presence as Panic and it had been her tiny claws that had opened the Betenoir's face. Striking out across the gauntlet and through his dead flesh as an instinct. Her long sinuous tail tightened its grip about his neck and she waited to see what her boy would do to get them out of hot water. lending her charisma to his, and her understanding of this Dead things place in the larger picture.

"A thousand pardon's" Panic said as the wound healed before his eyes. "It is very rare for one of your station to walk so openly into my haven untroubled and my instincts got the better of me. Most other's would have been prevented from entering, lacking your might as they do. Maurice isn't it?" he indicated a seat away from the door, hoping the vampire would at least consider it. "Hougoun of les filles de la nuit!"

The Young man's pronunciation is perfect.

"I have had many unusual and unique creatures cross my door Betenoir, but you are the first Loa to do so!"

[Its all in a days tag!]
