Panic was slouched in his sportscar, racing across town from Sammie's diner back tot he Dragon. As soon as he had left Arkana (great girl that one, why was he so attracted to Vampire's recently?) he had been hit with a crawling sensation. A need to get back home as soon as possible. The Dragon itself, through thier odd link, was calling him back to his lair. 

As he Flicks a cigarette butt at the lights on Belling Ave. to hurry them towards green, his cell phone rings. The Polyphonic sounds of 'A night on bare Mountain' cut through the sounds of the Progedy on his stereo system. One of the benefits of having friends in the Virtual Adepts.

He flicks a switch on his steering wheel to answer.

Crap! He really ought to have checked the caller ID first. Still, she didn't sound too pissed at him. Maybe she wasn't looking to tear his throat out?

"Hey .... Hot stuff .... nice to hear that voice." He wasn't lying, technically. it was nice to hear her voice. Even nicer that it wasn't filled with any fury just yet. "I'm on my way back to the ... back home, now. Got some nine to five to sort out first, but after that I'm all yours. Say in about an hour?"

He throws the car into a wide skid that sends the chinese lanterns swinging as he enters the road that leads to his domain. The Chaste Dragon. The Threshold.
