"Thats right honey, right here from a boy." Her expression changes as she stares more thoughtfully at Maurice. Thoser years of slavery and abuse are not memories she cares to visit too often, but she also has no intention of telling this man to change the subject. She lets a little of those times back into her thoughts, a controlled trickle of the pain and disgust. She wasn't much older than Panic, and had joined the bordello towards the end of its nightmare years. She only knew him as a young adult. "Some of the older girls, Tess for example, they taught hiom to read and write and all that. Brought him up with a proper education!"
