Christine wanders over and peers over Aurora's shoulder at Mitsuko's  
shoe collection. She whistles softly.

"Wow!" she breathes awed, as she takes in the range of shape, height,  
material, colour and level of ornamentation. Sublime and ridiculous.  
Shoes. Surely every woman's downfall. Every woman's folly.   
"Respect!" she grins at Mitsuko Miya then she spots a pair of elegant  
ivory silk shoes with a medium heel and a silk buttoned ankle strap.  
They look like a perfect match in both colour and era for Aurora's  
flapper's dress. Were those shoes there a second ago? Christine  
frowns slightly then lets it go. Who cares if it's a bit of a freaky  
coincidence? The shoes *are* perfect.

She points them out to Aurora. "It's got to be those," she comments.  
She smiles again at their host, the enigmatic and gorgeous Ms  
Mitsuko. "Can she try them to see if they fit?"

Christine's gaze wanders until she notices a pair of low heeled,  
white satin shoes with high tops and ornamental bronze buckles. Fairy  
tale shoes, right enough, but more Prince Charming than Cinderella.  
As she looks closer she sees that the intricate buckles have a  
dragonfly motif. Ah.

"Hey," she says, "those look like they were meant for this outfit.  
May I . . . ?"

Christine smiles again at Mitsuko. She tries not to stare but it is  
kinda hard to take her eyes off the Temple girl. There is something  
fascinating and compelling about her that goes beyond the undeniable  
impact of her beauty.
