The "normal" one smiled. "Ladies, I'm John and this
is my friend, Matt. I don't suppose the three of you
would be willing to join us? There's suppose to be an
incredible party for the high and mighty of Gotham,
and it seems our invitations got lost. Not a big
deal, really, but we find ourselves without dates. If
you ladies are free tonight, and interested in a
little adventure, could we talk you into joining us?"

John's gaze passed over all three as he spoke, looking
for anything unusual that might suggest someone less
than mundane (Awareness + Perception = 6). It was
then that the music began and John turned his head to
listen.
   
  The Music interrupted any answer.
  Anyone able to tear their attention away from the singer would have seen something happening to Abby.
  The pale green of her eyes,deepened and brightened then almost vanished around the black pools of her pupils. Her lips parted in a soundless 'Ooooooooooh' as she leaned back, tasting the air, lost in the beauty/mood/soul revealed in the song. Her eyes closed and she was lost in in Rapture. Her upturned face seemed to glow, haloed by the pale fire of the white tips of her bangs and curls against the sable shadow of her hair.
  When the song, the moment was over and the applause sounded, she finally came back to herself half-opening her eyes, all black and green fire beneath the black veil of her thick lashes. One close enough, or with more than mortal hearing might've heard the throaty, thuttering hum deep in her chest.
