The Troglodytes, Antoine, Onitt & the last of the Four
Nosferatu, Ghouls & Mortals
Pumping station

"Good evening!" said the darkness, and a figure stepped from the inky
blackness beyond the gate. He could have been three feet away and
Antione
wouldn't have seen him until he spoke he was sure. "We remember you, out
of
darktown with a flea in your ear?"

Even though Antoine was expecting something creepy like this, he was
still
taken aback. Fuck those creeps, he thought, this is the reason I hate
this.

Before he could answer the gate was unlocked and it slid back with an
awful
scraping sound. Metal on concrete as it was dragged open to reveal the
yard
outside the Pumping station. Les Filles looked up at the old building,
once
a monument to Gotham's Art Deco beauty, now a relic from a bygone age.
Against the blackness of the sky, figures moved.

Jaleel nervously licked his lips. Something fishy was going on here.
Were
did all these guys came from? He hadn't noticed them before.

What most had taken for a ragged flag worried at by the wind,
disattached
itself and crawled down the elaborate front of the building. Several
figures
in the darkness were gathering at the foot of the pumping station and
none
of them looked entirely as if they could walk with a normal gait.

Even Dédé was momentarily surprised, but he hid it well and had his
usual stoic
demeanor back in no time. He tried to keep all the creeps in his sight.
His hand
casually rested on his waistband near the gun tucked unseen in there.
Onitt, who
had been here before, just crossed his arms across his chest and showed
a noncomittal
smile.

"Welcome to our humble abode!" said the shrouded creature close to them,
now
revealed to be encloaked in an oily dryasabone coat of indeterminate age
and
a set of welding goggles. He threw out his arm and the gloved hand
spread
wide to indicate the vehicle and its occupants should come right in. "We
can
talk business inside ..."

Antoine nodded and gave Jaleel a sign. Jaleel jumped back into the van
to slowly
drive it into the station. "He didn't say nuthing 'bout da freaks. If
people tell ya stories, dey
shouldn't leave out 'portant facts." He muttered to himself as the van
slowly rolled into
the Art Deco monstrosity.
The rest slowly walked into the station as well. "Is good that you
remember us, would have been
a hassle to explain everything all over again." Antoine said to the
goggly guy in a conversational
tone, although a slight tension lay underneath it. As Onitt passed he
said: "New goggles? Look
nice."

The three stood beside the van, while Jaleel slowly got out of it. "So,
as you might expect, gentlemen,
we have a slight problem with, um, parts that need to disappear.
Silently and completely. We need
an old 'and nothing was ever heard or seen of them again' stunt.
Basically we need someone to pick
our flea out of our ears, so to speak" He looked at Old Goggly Eye
expectantly.

[TAG the freaky creeps]
