Mara decides to try to follow the man, but will stop before the temple starts to inflict pain on her.  She'd had quite enough of that for one night. After only a few steps she can tell the promise of more pain is all to constant and retreats again.


Mara takes note of the sound of the motorbike.  She wanted to remember it in case she were to run across it a second time.  She had been around enough of them that she knew that each kind was distinctive in the sound it made, and she was guessing this was probably an import.  And it was leaving Chinatown.  Heading...somewhere.  Neon City?
