  Two mortals and a curious Bastet
   
   
  They stood in the under the amber glow of the streetlights; a tall buxom blonde, a petite Hispanic girl with huge dark eyes, and a slender elfin girl with eyes green to the point of madness.
  Abby had foregone the stiletto heeled boots for her stompy combat boots, the new red heels she'd danced in all night had hurt her too much. Otherwise she dressed as she was on leaving for work, green satin corset, tight jeans with leather fringe and her biker jacket. She'd also left on the black velvet and rhinestone kitty collar she tended to wear at the Bar.
  "Come on, I wanna drink and that guy on the piano rocks!" Selena headed full tilt for the door.
  "Hey wait up for us." Shelli hurried to catch up.
  Damn, this guy is BIG! The door guy literally filled half the double doors, his shaven head reflecting the red neon glow of the sign.
  Abby smiled at him as she followed her friends.
