Cash slowly rose to the surface of the ground, alert
for any sounds that someone may be there.  He was
going to have to stop doing this - he already felt his
Blood running thin, but until he found a suitable spot
for a haven, it would have to do.

He checked his watch, it was still early and he had
some things to do before meeting Prince Montoya at 2
AM.  Gritting his teeth, he decided to try to clear up
the misunderstanding with the Gotham PD.  Walking
purposefully back to the garage where his bike was
parked, he paid the overnight parking fee and tipped
the attendant.  Pulling yesterday's Gotham Herald from
the saddlebag, he scanned the article for the name of
the detective in charge of the case.  He hoped that
since the crime took place at night, the detective
would work the night shift.  Taking a deep breath,
Cash flipped open his cell and called the
non-emergency number for the PD and waited for an
answer.
