[OOC: Prime 1  - Meditate at Node  - I've never been sure if
Quintessence can be absorbed into a Mage's pattern at Prime 1 or if
Prime 3 is actually required here  - I always found the the level
descriptions a  bit  ambiguous and I never looked into the matter
properly. However, I really only wanted to rp Christine's first
experience of Prime magic/Sense Prime energy so it don't actually
matter in this particular case- altho fellow player/Mage ST/ST
opinion on this issue most welcome :-) ]

It has always been my understanding that it needs Prime 3 to to syphon the
Quintessence off yourself. Prime 1 just means that you can store more than
your Avatar rating (and thus store Quint given to you by other sources like
Mages with Prime 4 and talismans).  But as I always say, Mage is my weak
spot so I may be wrong.
