The Temple of The Five Dragons
Late Friday Morning
Aurora awoke in her simple room again, still wearing what would make
her Bast, wondering slightly if she'd ever be willing to take it off.
Certainly not today, certainly not after last night.
This place obviously needed her here, needed her right where she was
right when she was...
She also needed some air.
Quickly catching a simple meal as her breakfast she makes her way to
the garden to meditate ((OOC: restore quint)) and meditate on who
she'd become.
Like her Awakening this had been a gentle, but much faster transition.
Nature, like all things, grows and changes, and it was nature that
led her to grow and change into who she was now. Her time traveling,
earning money where she could. Finally learning how to slightly go
into business for herself. Which reminded her... she'd probably need
to find a computer with Internet access sometime today or tomorrow.
Can't let the account go too long without checking or she'd know she'd
end up with a lot of unsold and unset things.
She was just glad she hadn't scheduled too many auctions... no reason
to make auctions when you don't know where you'll be in the next week.
She checked her pocket. Just enough for the rest of today. She'd
probably need an ATM for tomorrow, but that was tomorrow.
Here she sat, allowing her mind to flow through the time and her
memories as though it was just as fluid as the small creek she was
sitting next to. The same exact spot which had been herrs when she
awoke her staff.
That was sitting next to her, on the grass. She'd need to think of
some way to protect it if she was to become Bast. Some way to shield
it just as her body and identity were.
>From everybody except Christine.
She'd seen right through her disguise, but then she'd also mentally
been very active, soemthing Aurora wondered if she could even control
yet.
She prayed for her comrade.
Time flowed on, and Aurora sat, though she didn't allow it to wander
much farther as then she stood, staff in hand, at the ready, and
pulled the necklace from her loose t-shirt. It wasn't anything
special, just the one local basketball team she'd purchased yesterday
before things went nuts.
She began singing to herself, slowly at first, starting with humming.
Starting with a slow and easy dance, almost a waltz as she flowed, or
tried to flow, in her suit around the small clearing she'd claimed for
herself.
She hadn't been trained in Martial Arts, but she knew how to fight and
how to dance. She flowed between fighting nothing and dancing with
nothing, humming lightly a gentle, nameless tune, letting her voice
grow into normal singing at some point, she wasn't sure when.
She and the suit were melding, she could feel it. The sensors, the
computers, the electronics, she was helping them find and understand
her just as much as she was attempting to find and understand them...
to work together, side by side, one helping protect the other.
A plate of food had been brought, she knew that much... the Daughter?
She knew it was somebody who quickly knew where she was and would need
such.
There was an itching at the back of her memory as though she'd eaten
whatever it was.. but that was all.
Nothing mattered but the dance. Nothing mattered but the
Understanding. The Merging of woman and machine.
