John Black, Abby,
Very Old Man, Bastet, 
Lady Sinclair's Mansion 

The vampire's attention was snapped back tot he
party quickly and his expression was not one of
welcome. The dead flesh of his brow creased and
furrowed into a stern frown. The eyes look at John's
hand for several seconds.

"I'm afraid you have me mistaken old man ..... He
replies. The twang in his accent making him sound
like somebody out of an old Saturday afternoon
movie. "My Name is Dashwood not Charles .... or
Charlie!"

Eventually he takes the offered hand. Seeming to
  relax.
 
"But I have one of those faces. Dashwood Price, of
the New York Prices. And you are?"

"Johnathan Black." He smiled as they shook hands,
eventually lower his arm. "And this lovely creature
on my arm is Abigail." He made it a point not to
offer her last name. If the creature came after him
it would make killing it easier. No reason to invite
trouble for Abby.

"I apologize for the misunderstanding. Your right
though, you do have one of those faces . .
   
  Abby listens with both amusement and a bit of alarm.
  Abigail? That sounds like Gran’s name. Ah, sounds classier than Absinthe I guess.
  She eyes the Vampire, smiling.
  Boyo I ain’t seen you in the Bar, that’s for sure. That’s it, dismiss me as a fluff. 
  Things were so much easier when they underestimated a girl
.
   
  OOC: I don’t know if she’s noted John not making eye contact with him or not
.
   
  Softly she sings, whispering in your ears
