John checkles as he makes note of a couple of "people"
making small talk at the party.  "Tell me," his eyes
continue to wander past patrons, never stopping, "what
do you know about the parasites we're looking for?"

He's careful with the words he chooses, not ready to
draw too much attention to himself from creatures with
excellent hearing.
