John smiled and escorted her to a bar, where he asked
for a glass of wine and got Abby whatever she wanted,
slipping the bartender a tip. He took a sip of wine
and looked around the party.
   
  (OOC- Ooops! Abby likes Bourbon, failing that Champagne will do nicely)

(OOC: Perception + Awareness = 6 - looking
specifically for vamps)

As he scanned the party, he leaned in close to speak,
as much to enjoy the proximity as it was for privacy. 
"I know one in the city, the new Kahn of Chinatown. 
His name is Titus Bane. I suspect there will be
others here. I'm not sure how close we want to get to
them. I would hate to bring down trouble not only on
yourself, but any of your kinsmen as well."

 
   
  (OOC- Streetwise 3- She may have heard Titus’s name already, although not in the context of “Khan” or Vampire)
   
  “That’s sweet of you. I just want to play tourist, see their faces you know. I probably been close to some already. There’re a couple of guys that visit the bar and never touch their drinks that I can see. They tip ok though, for all their lean and hungry looks.”
  Her laugh is louder now. She looks about as well, under her lashes.
