John Black, Abby, Dr. Lazarus, Sandra Scoland
Very Old Man, Bastet, Enlightened Scientist, and Bastet
Lady Sinclaire's Mansion

Sandra turns to see Abby and John talking in hush hush tones over to the side, and has a difficult time tempering her curiosity about her newfound feline sister. She strained her ears to overhear their subdued conversation as she and Dr. Lazarus exited the impromptu dance floor.

(Perception 2 + Stealth 1?/Alertness 1?)

To be honest, I am going to rule that Sandra wouldn't overhear Abby. Basically for two reasons, firstly she was talking in hushed tones and close to John's ear. More pillow talk than open conversation as both of them were flirting with their abilities to guess at who was more than they appeared. Secondly, being as thye were talking and acting in such a way, I have no doubt that Abby would have paused whenever anyone came into earshot. I don't really think that Sandra's traits are good enough to overhear from a distance as she has quite a low dice pool in this area and no special abilities.

On the other hand, reading what the two players wrote of thier actions it seems that sandra might well spot the attention she was getting from Abby and John nad at least surmise that she was playinmg a prominant role in thier conversation. Enough to ramp up her curiosity and to make her wonder what was being said. Enough that she'd still want a word with Abby perhaps and to have a similar reaction even without actually hearing the words spoken and the secrets revealed.

How does everybody feel about that? :)

I am completely cool with that. Now if this coffee would only take effect...

That totally works for me too. :) My apologies to you Collette for having posted 'out of turn', so to speak/type, with Sandra's actions and not giving you a chance to react accordingly. My bad. I will make a correction post for Sandra's actions here very soon to fit with Spikey's ruling. Thank you, too, Spikey for the clarification. Mucho appreciated! :)

  Laters... :)

I never took offence, Eric, no apologies needed. But thank you anyway
