It was curious, and John wondered if other felines
were like this as well. He experiences with shifters
were limited, but he knew they tended to have quirks
which could set them apart from normal humans.

"What about the doctor's colleague? Is she like you?"

  Abby nestles her cheek against the Undying's Chest, considering her answer.
  "Maybe and maybe not, John Black. Are you like Dr. Lazarus?" She looks up at him, her eyes more green than black now. "We're not by any means one big, happy family you know."
