OOC: Hope Collette and Spikey don't mind the liberty
I've taken, but I thought it would go well with the
scene.  =)

John's movements are nowhere near as graceful as his
companion, but he manages not to embaress himself.
Once or twice he does something that might be straight
out of a historical film, but he catches himself
quickly and covers it up.

Most of the guests don't notice anything other than he
seems to be a decent dancer. Matt simply smiles and
raises a glass, turning his attention back to the
group he's managed to enthrall.

Abby, as a student of dance, picks up on some of the
nuances that John seems to be demonstrating. Bits of
dances from long ago that might have been found in the
courts of Europe, the parlors of the colonies, or the
speakeasies of Chicago. There are even a few moves
she doesn't immediately place, but recognizes their
origin as either Gypsy or perhaps tribal Africa.

John blends them together well, managing not to
embaress himself, adapting to his partner to blend in
with his surroundings.
