Alessa’s features reflect no emotion, save for her
eyes, which are rapidly changing in color, from dark
brown to deep red.

“I understand, better than anyone, my sire’s will and
his formidable tenacity.  I have no doubt that any
punishment inflicted for failure would be swift and
quite...”  She searches for the proper word.
“...memorable.  You will follow his orders to keep
watch over my every movement and, in truth, short of
killing you, there will be nothing I can do to
dissuade you from maintaining your vigil.”

The Tzimisce takes a step closer to Stefan.  The color
of her eyes have brightened to a vivid crimson.

“But know this - I also have a keen understanding of
Vasile’s ‘consequences’ and, I can assure you that,
should you harm me or anyone I care for... “  Alessa
nods solemnly in the direction of the limousine. “Or
anyone he cares for, I will not only replicate those
‘consequences’ to the very last detail, I will add
embellishments of my own creation.  Do you
understand?”
