Dave might not be able to make a post today, he has a hectic schedule cooking wonderful dishes for island folk, so I think he would be OK if you assumed he'd made the introductions and carried on. he can always post that snippet in retroactively when he does get to post. And you three can carry on talking as if it had happened. :)
