John smiled and watched Morgan flirt with Abby. He'd
let her take the lead, figuring that he might learn
more about the mysterious man with the shining soul.

He had little doubt that Morgan suspected what he was.
There were few denizens that had actually experience
with John's people, but that didn't mean they couldn't
deduce the basics.

He summoned a passing waiter and asked for a beer to
be brought to him, tired of the fancy wine and
Champaign.
   
   
  [Morgan]
  "My job involves a lot of flattery and flummery my
dear, most of it undeserved by the recipient. It truly
is a pleasure to be able to turn my skills upon
someone so utterly deserving of praise." He bows and
kisses her hand. "And might I say that its a real
pleasure to meet with a couple tonight who haven't
lost the battle to age and time as so many of Dear
lady M's guests seem to have done. I'm far too shallow
to have to look them all night I'm afraid, lifes too
short not to drown ones senses in the beautiful people
don't you think?"
   
  [Abby]
  Oh but ain’t ya a handsome Devil too, Mr. Morgan.
Now that you’re close enough to touch, and smell as
well, maybe I can figure just what it is about that
draw us all so.
  [Perception 3, Alertness 3, Primal urge 3, not sure
about the applicability of this last]
  She ever so lightly draws her nails across the skin
of his fingers as he kisses her hand.
   
  “Ah I bet you do that part well, Mr. Morgan. My name
is Abby and pleased I am to meet you as well. John
here,” she gives his arm an affectionate squeeze,
“knows how to show a girl a wonderful time. And where
to meet the most fascinatin’ folks as well.”
  Her smile is warm, her pale green eyes sparkling as
she gazes into Morgan’s.
   
John offers a sincere laugh at the banter, a genuine
smile on his face.  "It has been a fun evening so far,
Mr. Morgan, and we are enjoying ourselves.  I suspect
someone as perseptive as yourself is having fun too."

"Can an old man get either of you two a drink?"
