"Why did you have to tell me so early in the night!  Now I won't be able to think of anything else!"  Sugar said with an exasperated sigh as she finally received her fresh glass of champagne.  "This is already a great night!" 

"Then I take it you'd like me to suggest it to our erstwhile friend? I thought perhaps as much." He looked up and his attention strayed to the doors. "I think Ash will be here momentarily, with his new beau. Once they've pressed a little flesh and danced the dance I'll give him the nod!"

His chilled hand ran up the back of her spine, caressing her neck.

"So tell me my sweet, how many of these crusty old fossils do you know?"
