Sugar looked surprised as she turned her face upwards to look at Ettienne.  He was much taller than her, but they made the perfect pair together.  "Whatshername...Tawny?  What happened?  I couldn't imagine she'd leave there without a good cause..."  

"The man is my friend," Ettienne says thoughtfully. "But even I have little doubt he could provide reason enough. Too much exposure to his inconstant nature and those terrible suit's ..."

There hadn't been many times Sugar had had a chance to speak to Harl in person, but doubted she'd be able to grab the spot without owing someone something.  

"I don't suppose..."  Sugar smirked and flash a pouty smile at Ettienne as he looped her warm arm through his.  "...that place would be the same without another girl to keep the spot warm..." 

"I'd be inclined to agree my dear. Club Harlequin has been the centre of the social whirl for a very long time and is still the place to be seen." he looks down with a smirkof his own. "He'll be looking fora new act, somebody to keep his customers distracted and aroused so he can play his games and charge a fortune for the Lobster!"
