On the road again

>"Thank you ... Mara." The Oriental girl replies with a beaming smile. "I am a quick study and I really don't want to look like a hick."
 
"Amen to that, and thank you," Aurora responds in kind as she follows
Mara to her car.

Mara smiles at the ladies' responses.  It seemed neither had any real experience at dealing with this sort of party.  "You're welcome."  She replies.  "There's a first time for everything, and having a good teacher makes things a lot easier."  

Mara leads the women to her car, a dark green car that didn't look very different from most of those on the road.  She unlocks the door by using a key fob that seemed to come readily to her hand.  Playing the 'gentleman', she opens the car doors for the two ladies, and waits for them to decide who wants to sit next to her.
