"You already have Millet on your payroll."  Hope says, finally putting the second gun back in her purse.  "Why do you need me?"  

"Millet is indeed on our payroll. We have others like himwhom we controll through money,or information. But they are no more trustworthy by selling thier souls to us as those who sell them to the darkness. We play the same game of corruption at times and a higher wage would have men like Milet turncoat in an instant. 

We would never invite Millet and his kind to join us Hope, to face the rigours of initiation. They are simply employed by us. What we are looking for Hope is not another bent cop we have bought, but an equal. An ally in the fight!"
