As he spoke she was taking a slow drink from the wine. Her eyes widened. 

"Was it that obvious?"

She said then turned to him again with a smile. She really didn't care if it 
were obvious or who noticed for that matter but she hadn't realized how 
apparent she might have been. Then again she felt she was pretty blatant all of the 
time people just chose to not listen. 

She kind of laughed before continuing.

"mmm... I just don't... I don't know I shouldn't say anything because I have 
no reason to feel this way but men like that..."

She shakes her head ever so slight and rolls her eyes, this time there was no 
warmth. She was certainly serious for now. She had looked away again this 
time up towards where Raindog and Mordraine were. She paused holding back her 
thoughts and had it been anyone else but Malone she would have been able to leave 
it at that in fact she could have left if before that, blown it off really. 
She looked directly into his eyes.

"I don't trust him."

She held his eyes for a few moments looking into them for his thoughts before 
she continued.

"but I've already been out there. I've heard about his plans and I just..."

she stopped herself again. Now wasn't really the time. 

"I'd go as long as... ya' know, things weren't all pomp and circumstance."
