[OOC: I had no idea she was nipping off Panic while they rollicked - I'll
assume that she hasn't had enough to affect her blood pool, or else has
spent it for extra (ahem) stamina.]

Rachel hands over the document... brushing fingertips as it changes
hands. Her heart... well, if it were beating, it would have skipped one,
wouldn't it? As it is, it beats, just once, at his touch. Dammit, she
curses inwardly. If he's such a bastard, why does he make her feel
alive? And why does she *want* to feel alive, when she's so much better
off since she died?
"Well, there you go," she says. Realizing she hasn't let go of the
document - that her fingers are still clinging to that shadow of a contact
- she forces herself to let go. "If you need anything, you've got my cel
number. We're also setting up front at the Suzy Wong - you can leave
messages there if you'd rather not call me."
She stands. "Hey, Shade, now that I mention it, that's where I'll meet my
minion unless there's a good reason to do it somewhere else. Wanna meet up
there at one?"
She gives Two-Tone the "wrap it up, we're going" look.
Meanwhile, it gradually dawns on her that Panic is bound to read the
document... bound to find the note she left. Can she even remember what it
said? She thinks back. No, dammit, she can't. She was so blinded by her
frustration, the mixture of pain and ... could it be love, really? ... that
she just wrote, straight from the heart, half a page on the back of a copy
without even really being aware of it. She couldn't have borne the thought
of reading it back over at the time, and there's no turning back now...
it's in his hands, and she can't get it back.
The dice are cast, she thinks. Hopefully they don't come up craps.
[I'd rather bleed with cuts of love than live without any tag]
