he makes me a Bishop too... well, that puts him in a strange position, 
doesn't it?  I think that he's quite content for me to be Khan of chinatown 
and leave it at that.  I do my thing and pay kickbacks to him, he's happy.  
So long as no one rocks the boat.  Which none of us want, do we?'

"Of course not!" Warren replied a little too quickly. 

They walked a little further. The Nosferatu clearly wanted to say more, his body language was all expectant and hesitant at once. Eventually he found the courage.

"Only ...." He seemed uncertain. "rumour has it, and you know we Nosferatu are only the messengers here not the creators, that Santiago is on the way up. Even though we don't yet own all of Gotham the powers that be are going to make him an Archbishop for what we do hold. So the whispers go of course. We thought that perhaps the Templar needed to know this, and hoped he wouldn't spill where he got the skinny. Seeing as you're the one best placed to know if our sanctified Bishop was worthy of the responsibility ...."
