Mara turns to Etienne.  He had finished the sentence.  Which meant that he knew or at least understood Spanish.  Something to remember when dealing with him.  Keeping her eyes on him, she smiles at Etienne, and at the courtly gesture that she'd grown accustomed to since her embrace.  "Thank you, Etienne.  Can I say you look almost as good as Senor Montoya, and may I have a few words with you in private before the party ends?"  

"I can say my time is almost exclusively yours my dear!" He replied as his eyes strayed back tot he mortal. I just have one task to complete with the indominatable Miss kane that shouldn't take forever. Perhaps you would both like to join us? Mr Buford of the Nosferatu is out back with Ash and his elegant lady Fiend. We were hoping to entice Miss Kane to perform for us privately."

Ettienne looked deep within himself, calling on the powers of the blood and the skills of Presence. Wordlessly he called to Sugar, dominating her attention. The pull was subconscious, unrecognized. Sugar saw him and wanted to be near him. It was as simple as that!
